I am not a chicken specialist by any means but my family’s flock had a sick rooster they finally told me about after he had been sick two and a half days and I don’t know what it is.
He is in the prime of his life
His chest/crop area feels like a water balloon
His legs look bad and are stiff
He is also showing stiffness with his wings
I can’t tell if the stiffness is from him being stuck on his side unable to move for two days or what
Lethargic and his comb is 70% black
I put him up in a sling because him laying on his side was causing a poop buildup and such and he has medicated water accessible but out of the way so he won’t drown
I did force him to have a little of the medicated water the water has b-12 concentrate, shock 911, and another similar thing to shock 911 in it. He was swallowing when I orally gave the water but wasn’t trying to drink he will just sit with his eyes closed otherwise
I think he had a broken toe a long time ago which is why the toes look dramatically twisted?
Any idea of how to save him, what it could be, how infectious it is, or if we need to cull him is welcome please as I said the chickens aren’t mine so I don’t know a lot about them. I do have ducks in a separate area though so I need to know how to keep them safe from this if it is infectious
Thanks :)

These are his legs and comb
