HELP! Possible aspiration

If she's improving than odds are she will be okay. Don't be too hard on yourself, you were only doing what you thought was right.

Thank you. My Husband said the same thing when I was a blubbering mess a bit ago. Her sneezing seems to have almost stopped. I looked up avian vets around me so I have a plan if things take a turn. When would I know she is okay though?

Probably within a day. She would already be getting worse by now, but you said she's improving so I would stop worrying, but I understand, I've had those moments of where I thought I killed one by my actions. Sending you good vibes.:)

I agree..if she is already getting better she will mostly likely be fine.
Get some rest and try to not worry too much.
:hugs

Okay I'll keep a close eye on her! She's still eating and chirping up a storm. When I check on her she keeps trying to fly to me so I'm trying to stay positive. She was on the brink of death a couple days ago and I got her to come back from that so I'd feel terrible if I messed up all her progress. This darn girl has caused me lots of tears these past few days :p

All reasons I try not to get too attached to any individual, but that doesn't always work out. Chickens will break your heart the same as any other pet.

I REALLY tried not to get too attached. I was doing okay until this one got sick. I've spent a lot of time with her the past few days and now I'm completely bonded :p I'm no good at farm life because everything becomes my pet and I love them like I love my dogs. She's the only one I've given an official name to. I took this picture of her earlier today. She's just so darn cute.

I may have missed it...what made you think she was getting sick to begin with?
