HELP! Possums Invasion on My Property..

So recently I discovered possums breeding on my neighbors yard. I found like 5 babies and two parents. They regularly come to my yard and harrass the chickens and steal anything they can. They have killed my quail a few times before I moved them to the roof. (I live in the city in Mexico).

Any ideas on how to get rid of these things? There's no amazon to deliver a live trap and It's hard to come across stuff like that. Anyone have any DIY traps or ways to dispatch them? I've tried to bait them in but all I have is a machete and I really don't want my neighbors to witness me taking a machete to 4-5 possums lol. They already think I'm weird enough doing permalcuture in my yard, raising quail on the roof, and free range rabbits.

HELP PLEASE! I'm out of ideas.

You can get a pump BB/pellet gun....177cal, they are practical silent and deadly....they do have to be hit in the right spots to drop them with one shot, but as cheap and silent as they are a couple of shots will do the trick and neighbors would be unaware that much of anything is going on....or, for a little more $$ ya can get a .22 pellet gun.

Just make sure that it's not illegal to kill em where you live.
