Help! Reproductive issues - Need Advice

Oh no! She slept in the nest box all night - was there when I locked them up at 6pm & laid another softy this morning. It was still warm.

I'm gonna bring her inside, in a dark box, & give her just the pellets & Nutridrench.

Should I give her another Tums?
She's not straining anymore. Active, ran out of the coop this morning acting like nothing wrong.

I'm so scared for her.
This is her 3rd softy in a week

She just ran into the nest box again. But she already laid this morning

I brought her in & have her in a dark box with holes & shavings. :hit

She looks like she might have an impacted crop and she is trying to manipulate the contents. You need to take away her food overnight. Check the size of her crop when she goes to bed and again in the morning before she has access to food. It should be full at night and empty in the morning. If it isn't empty, you will need to start massaging it to help break it up. I like to do 10-15mins 4x a day if I can manage it. Remove access to dry food or anything that is not mushy.... no grains or treats , just a sloppy mix of crumbles or pellets soaked in a lot of water to make a thin slurry. You might want to add a few drops of Nutri Drench to it and perhaps feed her some coconut oil before you massage to help soften things up and help them to pass.

I don't have a tractor supply but will ask around our feed stores for the calcium gluconate.

Her crop is not full but feels normal otherwise. She does feel lighter than normal, like she's lost some weight

I'll get her probiotics. Should I also do electrolytes? I have both from Sav a chick

Thank you thank you for all your advice!!

She laid another soft shell overnight, from on the roost.
Her crop was empty this morning & she is acting normal, other than being mad that I'm not giving her the normal yummy grain food anymore.

I gave her a Tums yesterday & Nutridrench in her wet feed.
I'll give her another today, as well as Nutridrench directly.

And back in the dark box today. She was so unhappy there yesterday, i took her out for the afternoon.
I just need to be stronger I guess. It's so hard but it's for her longterm health. :fl
