HELP, Rescued Chick is Sick

I recently found this chick on our property at night on an evening stroll, Lil Chicky here is having a hard time, fed it water with a little sugar, it drank some.

How can I help this lil guy live

I believe that creatures know, on some level, when someone is trying to help them, and they get some comfort from it. I'm sorry for your loss. It was a lovely little fluffball.
