Puncture wounds are the most likely to get infected, and badly, just think what that rooster had been walking in before he attacked you. Get to a doctor and get a prescription for antibiotics, seriously. You don't want to lose your leg.

Either eat the chicken or twist off the spurs, and stop wearing shorts around chickens. Honestly with all due respect you knew he was aggressive and wore shorts, or maybe you put shorts on for the photo? This is about the same way I feel about people who wear shorts and sandals to ride a motorcycle.

my beautiful Lakenvelder came after me. Only me. Not my hubby, not my kids (8,9 and 10). Enough was enough when he cam afterme while I was cleaning the coop. I tried soccer, I tried scaring I tried dominance. I couldn't kill him though. He went to a farm with lots of roosters where he could play. Afterall, it is his nature. If you don't have the option to rehome where there is a strong male and no children. Have chicken noodle soup while you are healing.
