Help!! Rooster Comb spots.

Hi everyone,
My rooster has developed these spots on his comb. They started out white and are now turning black. Also if you happen to know his breed that would be great too.

Your description of how it started and the photos look like it could be foul pox.. a slow moving viral infection best supported through good nutrition.

He appears to be a German Bielefelder.
