Help! Rooster has a throat problem!

Very little sleep for everyone. My boyfriend held him for a while and myself and the Jersey were able to sleep for that time. He's wrapped in a blanket after his morning meds. He ate a few sunflower seeds (no shells). He's still moaning, although when he sleeps, he's quiet. That click is still there and it's very pronounced, so I'm thinking now it might not be normal.

We did drop suddenly from 80F/50F to 40F/below freezing at night. I know chickens can handle the cold but maybe not the drastic change? It was literally one day to the next. He doesn't seem to have the other symptoms though, his eyes and nostrils are still clear and the rest of the flock is ok. He even preened a little bit this morning... While moaning. It was kinda funny.

The main rooster keeps calling for him and he tries to respond but can't. They're super close buddies. Heartbreaking I hope this quarantine doesn't ruin that relationship.

So it's his second morning on antibiotics. Last night he fought me hard against the liquid so today I gave him "antibiotic oatmeal" which he's eaten most of, but it was only a tablespoon. He's not eating much and I haven't seen him drink at all, I force him water through a dropper and feed him grapes yesterday for liquid. He did sleep through the night quietly but as soon as he woke, the wheezing began. It's now the inhale and exhale. I noticed a very slight clear discharge on his nose last night. When I cleaned the coop yesterday, I knew it was dusty but looks like water had been seeping in through one of the corners slightly. Aspergillis, possibly? His perch is closest to the water seepage and sometimes he sleeps on the ground (he's a Jersey Giant, I should probably make a lower perch but he likes to be up with the others, too).

Any ideas or recommendations? And what needs to happen for him to go back outside with the flock?

I cleaned up his nose with some vetrx on a qtip and it hasn't had any discharge since. The foam in his mouth only appeared once. His wheezing is very bad, he's not drinking, he will eat some on his own. Not sure how to get him to drink/eat more. Tube feeding is a fight I haven't been successful at yet. At least he's fighting me?

He's trying to talk right now but he had zero voice. He usually talk up a storm all day.

oH That is truly awful. His nostrils are clear and this comes from his throat. Oh my. I would be panic stricken.

if he has a blockage in his throat the tube may be a harder to fit. get a thinner tube then.
