The comb/wattle development is concerning, but I'm still leaning toward pullet.

Thanks, I'm hoping...my niece is pretty sure it's a rooster I keep telling her to shhhh. Lol. A few weeks ago she made a loud sound that did not sound like a crow but looked like one. She did it two of three times in a three day span but nothing since.

I'll also add that my little bantam rooster has tried to mate with "her" a few times but not as often as others. Is that any indication?

I meant the feathers on the back, not the back end. A male of that age should have clear male saddle feathers. They are long, thin, and pointed.
