Very nice flock -- I particularly like the hen in the 2nd picture and the one with the two hens walking toward the camera and their feathers blowing -- it just demonstrates how SOFT their feathering is. Thanks for posting!

I have one too I'm confused about! Looks like a female with the dark markings, but why the light dot? It's got the lines on its eyes too. Tell me if you need more pics!

Definitely a girl. Some of them have that tiny dot and that's ok. If you get a girl with a big dot or muted striping I would avoid breeding from her, but this one is fine! Congrats on your beautiful girl!

yes that's a girl. The dot is due to the barring gene. Because girls only have one copy of the gene, the head spot is small, and sometimes absent, whereas in boys (double dose barring gene) it is large and spreads over the down to give it an all over muted, paler appearance.
