I've had to incubate all of them. Actually, today is a hatch day, if they keep to the calendar. Which they rarely do. Twelve set, one removed infertile, hoping for eight.
I have a broody Pekin, sitting on a mix of eggs (various chickens, ducks), nothing hatched yet - and what appears to be a broody SLW, who insists on sitting on... nothing?
Update, the broody Pekin got off the nest today to stretch, I peeked in. One egg, a duck egg, obviously contaminated and growing "ick". NO other eggs, though their clearly had been some.
Someone, or something, has been eating eggs overnight. I suspect the goats, so I've moved the nesting boxes. It seems unlikely a chicken or three, even if egg eaters (and no signs of that so far) could have encouraged this very protective duck off her nest.
