Help sexing mutts. I hate that i'm so bad at this

Apologies for the quality of the photos. The birds aren't acclimated to humans, I disturb them as little as possible, and were busy seeking food in the pasture, then shelter from the rain. Both were born 2/23, as part of my culling project, so are 21 weeks in age.

I'm hoping both are cockerels, and that I've correctly identified them - just double checking before I bring on the knife. That's an act I can't undo.

Unless you are a chicken Victor Frankenstein lol. But yeah they look like boys and your assumptions appear correct

over a Dark Brahma for bird two. Bird One's mom remains uncertain, but is likely a Hoover Hatchery "Rainbow", based on the color leakage. Could be a Golden Comet as well - those were my only gold birds at the time.
