HELP....sick chick very sudden....

Yes they are warm. I did set it up so they can regulate. Warm and cooler spots in their bin. All ventilated.

Baby chicks do sleep a LOT. Tho, Ive been watching mine and being quite paranoid about everything, I just lost 4 baby chicks to infectious bronchitis.
One thing you can do that always helps is put some electrolytes in their water, like Sav a Chick. It has vitamins too, there are several different brands.

From MyPetChicken. But it has been two weeks since I got them. They have been wonderful up until today.

Hey what kind of chicks are they? I got some bantam EEs from them and I lost 5 out of the 6. I think 4 died because the trip was too hard, the last one died from IB, which I was fairly certain I got from a couple of chicks that I brought home from a local hatchery. I REALLY wish I would have had a necropsy done on one of the MPC chicks, because I will never be 100% certain of the source now.

This has nothing to do with the sick chick ,,, have you had bantam EEs and how big are they?

Yeah, you're right, the type of chick doesnt matter, I was just curious I guess. My point is Im not sure of the source of IB. I doubt it was MPC, they are wonderful and also NPIP certified, but like I said I cant be 100% sure of the source. They were all very small, the one that did survive was quite a bit larger. They were 3 days old when I got them.
