He is not worse.

He was fighting me more on the pill, so I think he is getting better. I also think he is eating some of the dry cat food I put down for him. I hand fed him some scrambled eggs, raisins, and blueberries. Here's the latest poop.




Not the best looking, but at least not all yellow foam.
Do you guys think I need to worry about him not drinking enough? He does seem better. How hunched up or anything.

He has not jumped up on the sink again since I posted that photo. That was before I thought that I could go down to 1 pill a day. He has been back on 2 pills a day since Thursday.

I'm flattered, but I can only make suggestions based on my own personal experiences. If he were mine, and after 7 days of metronidazole was not eating and drinking on his own, I would consult a veterinarian. If he does have blackhead, it's very possible that he has a secondary bacterial and/or fungal infection now as well, maybe even coccidiosis, too. I just don't know enough about mixing drugs and dosing to be able to give any other advice.

See, I said that you would tell him what to do and you did. So, it does sound like the little boy needs to go to the vet.

I think he is eating some. Since he is in the bathroom with the door shut, I can't see him all the time.
If I finish this course of metro (six days worth) and his poop is not better, I will try a vet. I do have some antibiotics, but I am not sure what to try. I do not have any Baytril.
