Help! Sick Puppy, *UPDATE* He is Now Fine! ~pg 1

I would like to gently suggest that you try and find homes for the dogs you have as you have said that you cannot afford vet care. You are doing the pets a disservice by not providing simple care that every pet deserves. I hope your dog gets well. Please clean every hard surface in your home with a bleach and water combination, as it will kill the virus and help keep it from spreading. Make sure you clean the soles of shoes, too, so you don't spread it, if it is parvo, even if it isn't parvo, it's still a great idea to disinfect with it to be safe.I am a licensed vet tech, have handled dogs in the show ring, done years of behavior and obedience classes, etc.

Crazyfowlfreak, I understand and don't really DISagree with what you are saying. However I think that the OP here is a child. She's probably not the one making the decisions about where the money goes.

Nikki, is your dog having any sort of discharge from the eyes or nose? If so, is it thick or watery? Is your pup coughing or sneezing at all? Any labored breathing or wheezing? Is he hunched up in the abdominal area, can you see him holding his back in a hunched posture? Is he licking any particular area? Are you able to get us a body temperature? Are his poops an odd color at all, such as red or orange? Is the milky vomit smooth or bubbly and frothy? Does his vomit smell very strongly of digestive fluids? What do you feed him? The orange vomit is likely to be colored kibble if it is chunky, but if it is smooth and watery, that will probably be bile (which would occur if the stomach is empty). How often is he vomiting and having diarrhea? I am personally leaning towards either a partial blockage or gatroenteritis at this point, but I'm no vet. Regardless of the cause, pup needs to see the vet. I will link you to some groups who help pay vet bills momentarily.

I just pulled these offline. Never used them myself, so make sure your mom asks lots of questions and looks up their reputability before pursuing them. Maybe others here have input on these groups:

Well, whoops, I had no idea. Sorry! OP talk to your mama about this situation. I really do wish your doggie the very best. <3

Today Charlie is worse. Now we wont even eat or drink at all, When we call him he just sits there, Me and mom gave him some water. he drunk it, We are going to give him some more at 8:30. And Thank you all for Advice, He did puke alot last night, we noticed grass in his puke also,

I agree, Parvo is very hard to mistake for anthing else, the smell of a parvo dog is very distinctive. Did you take the pups temp? I hate to say this, but with very small dogs with a very fast metabolism, you have very little time to monkey around with not eating and drinking, they dehydrate very quickly, and organs will shut down. Please have your mother read the posts, take him to the humane socieity this morning and surrender him if you can not take him to the vet. Hate to be harsh, but to sit there and watch him die is a crime.

This sounds like your dog has an obstruction. He probably ate something that is stuck somewhere in his digestive track. Only a vet can help you. Ask your parents if he can go to a vet or local animal shelter. Many times they have payment plans or charity funds. Your dog will not do well as it sounds like he is very dehydrated already. Good Luck.
