First I thought it was splayed legs but they aren’t to the side they are out the back, the top part of the leg is at the wrong angle or something and it just pushes itself around and can’t fit itself up, it eats food that I put on the ground and it only drinks whe I give it water on a spoon, I’m worried it will never walk, what should I do? Should I put it down? If so how would I do that humanely? In not how do I fix it? Also could someone send me the link to post on the emergency injury disease and cures page, I don’t know how to post on it.

I just "reported" to move your thread to the Emergencies, Disease, Injury and Cure forum ... Quoted your post in a thread there cause I got not clue what else to do. Just seen this, you should be getting help real soon. @Eggcessive @WVduckchick @Teila

Do start some chick vitamins, such as Poultry Cell 1 ml daily, or baby vitamins, such as Polyvisol no iron 3 drops daily. The vitamins need to contain riboflavin which rules out NutriDrench.

Leg bone deformities can be common in chicks. Varus valgus deformity, TD or twisted tibia may be confused with slipped tendon or perosis. Here is some reading:

Thank you so much, a lady came in to have a look at it today and said that it has a hip problem and maybe a back problem since it can’t lift its head much, she said that she will try nurse it back to health but if it’s too bad to fix then she will put it down
