I would try diatomaceous earth its a dust you can add it into their bedding and rub it on them, its a white non toxic powder made of the desiccated shells of diatoms, you dont want to use anything toxic on live animals, when you are eating the eggs , but dont get it in their eyes, thats the only thing. good luck
