I think this chick hatched too fast and didn't fully absorb the yolk, it keeps falling onto its back not sure if that's related. Last time this happened my chick died within 24 hours. Is there anything I can do to help it survive?

Not really. Just watch him that others do not peck it. What day did it hatch on?

I put them in the bator Thursday evening and it hatched out this morning. The other chicks haven't even broken through their shells yet so it does seem to have hatched a little earlier than planned.

I'm confused because I've read that you should put it in a cup with a damp cloth so that it can absorb the rest of the yolk, leave it until it dries and falls off, gently push it back in and cover it, and tie it off with floss and cut it off when it dried out...not sure which option is best but for now I have it in a cup with a moist paper towel and it's ticked! Haha

I was asking from the beginning of incubation to hatch?? So you are saying today was the 21st day?
