Help sticky chick

So it is day 21 and one chick of ten has hatched. I hear peeping from a few of the others,so just be late bloomers. But chick number one is a little hunky and sticky...I have wet a paper towel with warm water and tried to wipe some gunk off. Is it due to low or high humidity that she is gunky? Anything I should do different?
Heat is 100 and humidity is at 55. Was 40 for most of incubation period. Hoping others hatch here soon. Worried...

I wish I could offer help, but I am only experiencing my first hatch right now. However, from what I have read gunky/sticky chicks are a result of not enough weight loss from the egg. Hope he is good this morning.

As long as the yolk was fully absorbed it should be fine. On rare occasions they may pop out early and have yolk stuck on them you just need to allow it to absorb which it will post hatch as long as your humidity is good. I try to have humidity around 60 to 70 on hatch day. It helps lower sticky chic occorances. And is about what they have naturally here in ga. Sensitive skin baby wipes warmed up get them pretty clean most of the time but if it's really bad you can bathe it in 95 degree water. Just don't submerge the head.
