Help - Stopped getting email subscription notifications - unsubscribing???

Well. Don't delete your BYC account like I was about to do. Lol
the 23rd is exactly when my emails stopped too.
maybe now go through the other steps that were suggested.
Check your spam folder, etc.

I'm a " BooB"~! Evidently the reason I wasn't getting any email notices (after I changed to Gmail) is BECAUSE no one was posting on my subscriptions! I got your answer immediately. I just have NO patience Thanks for writing & reasuring me that all was OK~!

I've also stopped received email notifications - and I'm using a gmail address. I'll try changing email addresses and see what happens ....

There was a reported issue that made the news in early Feb.,about people having email problems on AOL. Two of the reported issues were 1) Inclusion of URLs within messages led to some of those messages being labelled as spam. These URLs, spam or not, were added to the naughty list. So was the sender that used the URLs; they were blocked. 2) Forwarded emails from another server sometimes included spam, and the forwarding of that spam led to inclusion of the source email sever on the naughty list. I don't know either of these is THE issue y'all, but it does coincide with the timeframe mentioned.

I just received an email notification - just the one, on this thread - although many of my subscribed threads have been updated. HOPING that it's just a glitch ....

If anybody else is having this problem please reply with:

1. Whether you were getting the emails before and when you stopped getting them
2. Is it all subscriptions or a certain type
3. Did you ever click an "unsubscribe" link on any of your emails from BYC? Some of the links are a "hard unsubscribe" and could permanently unsubscribe you from everything.

I was getting emails up until late last night - early this morning.

I am receiving private messages and random emails just a couple of threads - very random and not very many. One new thread, one VERY old. I unsubscribed one thread earlier today just to test - and resubscribed. Have received one of those "random" emails I referred to since then - not on that thread.

I tried changing email addresses. Not sure if it changed anything or not. I did get notice to confirm the new email which I did. (Both are gmail addresses.)
