help! structure/landscape to minimize the noise?

Ha ha, well while I was outside taking pictures of my coop and run, my Ella laid an egg, I was able to keep her egg song to a minimum while I was out there - THANK GOD lol- she laid a small perfect green egg!!! ok, time for the farmer's market!!

yay!! Well so far, 3 neighbors are okay with the noise, they don't mind at all, I think I'm gonna go to 3 more houses just to cover the area. So far no one had an issue with it, and they know where to go if they do! Thanks Hummingbird!!

While I was gone to the farmers' market, Ella laid ANOTHER egg!!

Great news!! Are you sure it was Ella again? I thought chickens were physically able to lay only one egg a day. Maybe when they first start they're backed up...

You can also get an automatic chicken door to help you out in the am and in closing up the coop at night.

this is Ella, my Ameraucana who laid the first egg - I can never get close to her because she is so darn skittish

This is my set up, we left some space so my husband can put up a 6ft privacy fence. Once the fence is up, we'll extend the run to the fence.

These are my polish crested, we're introducing them to the flock, it's been a month and I still don't think it's safe for them to go in general population, so they stay here in isolation - I might have to get rid of the cockerel though

Here it is, the first egg, when I left to the farmer's market, I found another one in the nest, looked exactly the same. My only conclusions are that Ella laid 2 and I missed it, but if everyone here is saying that's impossible, then it had to be my other Ameraucana as well. (One of the reasons I got assorted chickens, so I can keep tabs on who is laying)
