I honestly don't know. I read that somewhere with ducklings, but the person added more birds to it within a day or so.

Edit to add: It was Goldshaw farms, and he had a duckling he ended up putting goslings in with and the duck bonded with them.

There are three 6-7 week old chicks I plan on putting her with, however, they will peck at her and she cannot defend herself yet

Just a thought, can you put the three week old in the same area as the 6-7 weeks so they can see and hear each other, but still be separated?
