Help to sex Wyandotte 2 week chicks

:welcome :frow It's really too early to tell for sure. Usually the female tails start to show before the males do.
Thanks that is what I was hoping two of chicks have developed nice tail feathers so hopefully that’s a good sign. I won’t be disappointed either way however would love to see 2 pullets. Thanks
 
Wyandottes can be very hard to sex because they are so slow to mature. You would want to post pictures around 8 weeks to get a good idea but for some it might take until 12 weeks.

One thing you can look for earlier on Wyandottes the pullets feather in with an even pattern all over. For cockerels they will have blocks of color on their shoulders instead of a pattern. I included a picture of my boy at 8 weeks to show what it looks like.

They are super cute :love I bought a BLRW this year who was supposed to be a pullet but ended up a boy :hitI hope yours end up as girls!
