Help! Tongue stuck in the throat of a baby chick

@Chicksgowild do you have any news?
Yes, yesterday I contacted them and I was told that she died a couple minutes after I dropped her off with the rescue center. I am a bit sad, but I understand as she couldn't eat anything. I am glad isn't suffering anymore, that's what makes me feel better. Thank you to all who tried to help. I really appreciate it.

:hugs I'm sorry to hear she didn't make it.

You tried everything you could.

I've got a baby chick who's tongue is stuck in the throat. I tried to give her some food by using the torpedo method and noticed that her tongue is in her throat. I tried to pull the tongue towards me with tweezers and the tongue slips. Is there anything I can do to pull it out. Please help me out. It's been such a busy month with chicken sickness/chaos. :hit
Wow, I'm so sorry. I don't have a resolution but I am praying one comes to you quickly!

Just curious - after she passed did the rescue people attempt any type of cursory necropsy to see what exactly the issue was with her tongue? If they were able to open the area up after she died they might have been able to identify the cause. Not every rehab center has the personnel willing or able to do something like that so I can't blame them if they didn't.
