HELP!!! TURKEY HEN PROLAPSED??

I know I am very, very late to reply to this thread, but I've read every single post. I wish you the very best and good luck with Ebony. Peep seemed like such a lovely girl... I'm glad that she's home again and is reunited with Shadow..,

You are incredibly sweet, thank you so very much. It really means a lot to me, she’s always in my heart. I miss her always. Shadow too, they were the absolute best birds a girl could ask for. I’m treasuring ebony now.

I had a chicken that had the same condition...I was able to help her heal several times from the prolapse using preparation H and pushing it back inside after soaking her in Epsom salts...after 5 months ... She wouldn't respond to any treatment and was laying soft shell eggs so I had to put her to sleep... I hope your turkey is doing better !

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s heartbreaking when things like this happen. But sometimes we have to do what we have to in order to end their suffering.. it’s the most selfless thing we can do. The turkey mentioned in this thread who had the awful prolapse is no longer with me, I’m not sure how much you read. But we ended up having to humanely euthanize, we took her to a vet emergency room. I got her cremated and have her ashes with me at my house. I miss her all the time

Thank you so much yes it’s very beautiful. I ordered her a custom urn, she deserves nothing but the best. She was the best girl I’m glad she’s home with me. Thanks for being so great and kind to me that night, you stayed up with me and talked me through it. I’ll never be able to thank you enough

Aw, no thanks necessary. I just did what I'd have wanted someone to do for me in that same situation. Going through something like that is awful, but it helps so much to not feel alone.

It really does. I don’t think I could of done it all alone that night..
