HELP! Twin duck egg no pip day 28

HELP!!! just candled to see the air sack, and it is gone!!! All of the veins and stuff are in there, the chick cracking the egg right now is still alive so that’s good… but can anyone please tell me what this means and why the air cell has disappeared and changed colour?
It is only on one side though? On one side the air sack is completely normal and on the other, something is pushing down on it and making it look yellow and gone!

I think it’s definitely twins! There is a pip from the bruise… and I also see a beak in the air sack too!

Sorry I was sleeping
I’m glad baby is doing it’s own crack
It should hatch just fine on it’s own
As for the air cell as baby moves to turn the air cell will get pushed back down so don’t worry about that
I would just leave the egg be and make sure the humidity stays around 65
By making the safety hole you gave him the chance to have air enter the egg
What do you mean about the second crack ? Is there an external pip at the air cell end too ? Can you take a picture

After they make the external pip themselves it’s 24-48 hours
Baby will be absorbing his yolk and sucking up the blood in the veins
Baby is moving exactly as he should be. The beak you think you see could be a foot
Baby will move into the air cell as they turn while getting ready to zip
I wouldn’t take the egg out of the bator anymore. We don’t want the humidity to drop and baby to dry out and get stuck in the egg
If after 24 hours from its first crack ( not the hole you made but his crack ) nothing has happened then you could slowly start to make the zip line for it but I really think baby will do it itself.

There is now an internal pip in the air cell as well as the pip from the bruise… 2 pips!
I could not get a good picture on this camera because I used my phone to candle! It looks completely different in real life and I am 100% sure there is either a beak or a foot, because a triangular shape is poking into the air cell, but on the picture it looks tiny?

I’m thinking it’s the foot
But could be wrong and really can’t tell with the picture
But I wouldn’t move the egg anymore
This could cause baby to dry out or get disoriented as he needs to zip
He should make a second pip close to the first one in 8-12 hours then more waiting
Sometimes they do it sooner or later but that’s a general I have found with mine
Some take hours to finish the zip once they start and others take 10 mins
The fact he made his own I would leave the egg be
Honestly if he can hatch himself he will be much stronger
This process is long and feels even longer. 24-48 hours after his pip before he hatches just give him time to do his thing
Patience is the best thing for hatching ducklings :)
