HELP! Twin duck egg no pip day 28

I opened it up and he is definitely not alive… we did everything we could but last night he must of been too weak! He needed help sooner and now I think thats my fault! His beak and face is tiny and I can tell by his eye he is dead … R.I.P :(
WARNING graphic photos:(

Looks like he has goo in his nares
You can slowly take shell off and see how absorbed he was
I’m sorry
Honestly helping sooner is not something I would suggest as he was trying it himself. I have never lost one that external pips
If humidity is to low the goo in the egg becomes like cement
This can make the baby stuck
This can be from your reading being off and opening the bator after the safety hole was made

The goo is like jelly

His nares are too small to have air come through them
