Help, urgent 4 month old easter egger/orphington pullet wry neck, swelling on one side of face.

I don't know how to tell all of you the most heart felt thank you! We tried so hard, she was a chick I hatched and she wanted to live so badly, I couldn't let her go, she talked to me everytime I walked by. We tried to go to 3 vets and was turned away. Everyone in my family outside of my home, because I live by myself with my small farm thought I was crazy and ridiculous. How do you give up on something that's wants to live?? I lost her 3 nights ago. She actually fell asleep on my chest that night and I also fell asleep. I woke up to her in heaven. I pray she is having the time of her life. Thank you all for your support and help, because without you all I would have been lost. God bless you all!!!

I'm so sorry she passed. What a way for her to transition though, lying peacefully on your chest feeling your heart beat.

You don't give up on something that wants to live - and you didn't. You gave it a valiant effort. It doesn't matter what others think - you did your best to care for her.

Chicken grief is a real thing. You have all the support you need here from others to get through it. Hugs..... :hugs
