This thing happened with my rooster @staceyj tells me and I believe this that something stuck in the slit in the succession to Realese it their body made up this belly stuff and it goes down on it's own

This thread is from 3 years ago. It could have been a respiratory infection from a virus or bacteria, or fungus. The yellow could have been from coughed up mucus. Some bacteria (pseudomonas) can cause yellow color. It also could have been the early signs of canker, especially if it smells bad. Saaniya,Oh my tootoo had this problem occasionally once I clean the slit it didn't come back now I guess if any seed go up or anything else ..but he doesn't have any symptoms
But is it possible that some thing go there and it create that yellow gel.
No there's no smell sometime we see it go down in throat on it's own

Next time you see that, try to get some photos. It may just be some food inside his beak.
Poor guy!Boys were fighting and somehow tootoo's beak injured minorly it looks like a scratch but it swell up
