HELP URGENT! my poor chicken is sneezing and has trouble breathing. Her mouth has some form of yello

I swabbed her throat with a q tip and it removed the yellow fluid and now it is clear.

maybe @casportpony will be on soon, or someone else
for now i would just try to keep it clean
isolate her from the others in case it is contagious
and keep an eye on her

interesting, maybe it will pass on its own, but like i said isolate her from the rest of the flock in case she could spread it

this is one i am not good at, that is why i said that i hope kathy gets on soon lol, (casportpony)

you could search on byc for sinus infections and see what it says for medications

How's your hen today? When I was in Jamaica on vacation my chicken sitter (LOL) contacted me because my chicken was lethargic, sneezing and looked sort of like she was gasping. She gave her antibiotics in a powder that you mix in water and replace every 24 hours. That helped her immensely and she is healthy now

UPDATE She seems to be a bit better now after I started giving her some antibiotics from the feed store, but she still doesn't have much of an appetite. She will pick at her food before walking off, and then she will lie down for a while or scuttle off to dustbathe

try giving her some scrambled eggs
tuna, or some other treat
then mix it in with her food, so she gets both
