HELP!!!! URGENT!!!!!!

No, he has not. The hole is still not too big, but he's still alive and pecking. What is the temperature of a broody hen's breast? He is at 103 F under the lamp right now.

Thanks. It got up to 105, before I turned it down. I hope it didn't cause brain damage! Of course, eggs might hatch on a hot summer day of 105; right. It's down to 100 now. I'm finding it difficult to regulate the heat lamp!

He is not making any progress at all. I fear he will die. I got Neosporin, wrapped him in wet paper towels, upped the humidity, had plenty of heat, but he just can't seem to unzip the shell. It is so upsetting...

I wonder whether an avian vet could save him? I'm sure they'd charge an arm and a leg, though, and it would be iffy.

Do you think I should go buy an incubator for him?

I have a call in to the avian vet. He is to call me back. Maybe he'll have some ideas?
