Thank you Clover8Flora. They are a kick. Just now I had to put one of those metal UFO things in the cage for their feeder. Mama Hen kept kicking out all the chick starter that was in their nifty little green attachable cup. She hates it for starter, though she loves drinking water out of them. So I put the UFO in, and she tried to kick the starter out of it, but couldn't, since I put a little attachable cup at both sides so the feeder won't move and an empty cat food can fits perfectly over the top, so Mama can't stand on the feeder and move it around that way. I have to outthink these clever birds every second, but it's soooo worth it! Also had to replace soft pine shavings bedding with plain newspaper, since they kicked the shavings into their food and water constantly. Problems solved (for a few seconds, anyway). LOL
