We hatched last night and the last one to hatch had not absorbed its yolk sac properly. It has been doing really well, with some care, but it is covered in dried yolk and so is not fluffing up. How can we best help him?? Any ideas welcome!

I had a duck hatch like this two days ago and he was able over the past two days to clean himself. He is now all fluffed up. I would give him a few more days to try and do it himself. If he doesn't get it cleaned off in a few days then you could try to wipe him with a wash cloth. You just have to be careful of that bellybutton.
