Hello fellow duck lovers!
A few weeks ago, I was told to wait for the ducklings to be 7 weeks old to voice sex them. That's what I did and now is the long awaited time to figure out if these cuties are males or females. I took short videos of each of my ducks so hopefully you guys will be able to help me out a bit! My personal opinion is that I have 3 ducks (Romeo, Céline and Chunky) and 3 drakes (canelle, Juliette and Luna). The ones I've categorized as drakes are the ducks that haven't really quack yet since I've read that their voice change later then female duck voice does. Weirdly enough the 3 possible drakes are the three smallest ducklings of the group. Could someone let me know if I'm on the right track? What would you sex them as? I know in this video Romeo doesn't quack much but she's the loudest Quacker in the bunch once the camera gets turned off.
