Help wanted - Quail missing leg!!

Looks like 1/2" on floor and back...and 1/4" on left side??
So sorry for your horrific experience!

Oh well it’s one of the two. Just going by what my uncle said as he’s the one who built it.

I am just a tad bit worried about this poor guy.
Man I feel sorry for him.

No they leave him alone for the most part, he’s in pain, and I know I should cull him but I really think he might make it

Yes. If it does end up getting really infected and he gives up, I will change my mind.

So, does anyone know what I can do about the quail that can’t walk? She hops and doesn’t seem to be in pain- but ideally, if there’s anything I can do for her, I’d like to try.

Bird should be put down. A bird like this will have no quality of life fumbling on one leg, it's not like a finch or parakeet that can adapt by being able to fly around.
