Help Wanted: Weird Egg Photos

Hi All,

I write a chicken blog and am doing several series: Having Chickens Is A Great Way To Meet Your Neighbours; Chicken Illnesses/Emergencies and Predators.

I want to do a photo essay on weird eggs and am looking for folks who are willing to let me use their photos (with credit): egg within an egg, egg with a tail, slab sided, winkled, fart eggs, uneven pigment, odd shapes, very small or large, whatever you've got. The only proviso is the photos have to be decent quality.

Hi - my hens lay blue and green eggs. I'm looking for egg oddities - super small or large, unevenly applied pigment, wrinkled, odd shapes, flat sided, cracks that have been repaired prior to hatch, etc. Ever had any of those?

Hi - my hens lay blue and green eggs. I'm looking for egg oddities - super small or large, unevenly applied pigment, wrinkled, odd shapes, flat sided, cracks that have been repaired prior to hatch, etc. Ever had any of those?

I got a very large double yoker, I also had a large pointy wrinkled egg... But I didn't take pics of that one.

If you still want them here are a couple of eggs I got photos of:
2 photos of my Cuckoo Marans first egg, didn't get the full treatment of dark coating and very thin shell that broke when I picked it up. (Spray can was clogged?! lol) The very next egg was a beautiful dark chocolate color and has been ever since. The other photo is just a weird wanna-be egg with a tail of sorts. Soft shell with a protrusion. Feel free to use on your blog or whatevers, credit to Elizabeth Campbell.
