I also have Cayuga ducks, and I can verify that the black can be washed off.
That's why I assume that Cayuga eggs get lighter over time, less pigment in the bloom the more they lay.
I believe they do, but I don't have runners so I can't say for 100% that they will.Will black runners lay back eggs too?
