HELP! WEIRD POOP!

Whether or not changing the food helps the poo, I assure you changing it is the right thing to do for the chicks. Otherwise I would suggest not having them, And I don't mean that to be ugly. But to let you know how sincere I am about the health of your chick and hence your future flock as well as you current one.

Were you able to find the poop chart? I think this is the link. Hope it helps.

Also, I agree with @Wyorp Rock on the previous comment. My goats have had issues from to much morning dew on pasture providing to much moisture in the morn. Letting them out later helps for them, even though it's not exactly the same reason it's kinda the same idea.

ETA- I also agree she doesn't LOOK sick.

Thanks for sharing.

I bought a microscope so I can run my own tests since I have 3 dogs, 2 goats, and 48 chickens. $25 is how much a float at my vet costs so it adds up fast. And I hate to treat for something I might not have.

Aside from your dry environment, do you have other animals on site?

Just one dog. I gave the first dose of safeguard yesterday, which is a pain with 15 chickens, and I found some dead round worms in their stool. Hopefully their poops will be normal soon and my eg production will go back up.
I'm I supposed to redose in 10 days? And one dose or 3 more?

Unless your birds are kept in a dirty set up...? I am sure they are not...They do not need to be dewormed till the following year, if even then???
Stress can cause runny poop...Feed...Drinking more water...Fruit...Do not run out and start pumping meds into your birds...I for one never do unless something is actually wrong? Then I really sit and debate if it is needed?
Chickens are tough...I consult many people who have more experience than me and always come out with no dead birds...

I think your bird is fine!

We did have some humid weather, it has now cooled down and he/she is no longer pooping water it is now more like diarrhoea so perhaps it will continue to get better

Thanks everyone for the the help and advice

Also are all use guys convinced it's a girl because I was thinking it was a roo

The pic is gone or I would look again at gender.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I will try get photos but it is practically water so you can't really see it. I haven't wormed the chicks yet so it could possibly be worms? Apart from the poop they look healthy so I didn't think the food would bother them but I shall change that and see if it helps
Well, her legs don't look dark like a girl. But her stripes don't look white like a boy. Do you have same age ones to compare the waddles and comb size? They look red but I think girl.
