Can someone verify if this is fowl pox? I noticed my one hen had a bloody comb a few days ago and thought she may have been pecked so I didn’t think much of it as she seemed fine otherwise. Yesterday when I let my girls out I noticed her eye was swollen shut so I started to look around at the other members of the flock and saw another hen with a swollen pussy eye. This morning two other chickens have crust spots on their combs. My chickens usually free range so I have them all locked up together in the run with electrolytes and a watered full of apple cider vinegar and garlic. I have 14 hens and 6 seem to be affected....it seems like it has affected my Orpingtons but not my Easter eggers, Maran etc.. I feel like they have all been exposed and I really don’t have the space to separate 6 chickens from the rest, so I have to keep them together unfortunately. Is there anything else I can/should do?
