Help! What is going on with my hen?!

Help please! I went to gather eggs this evening and noticed this girl has a crusty eye and this strange shiny silver bubble protruding from her head!! What is it?!?
I've googled and asked my experienced chicken friends, but I'm still bumfuggled

I'm nor sure honestly. But the grey limp looks like what our sheep get when they have a full tick hanging there

Ticks cause a few things. When there was one stuck in my dog for a while, then I pulled it out and that spot stayed like a swollen bump for a long time.
