Hello Everyone.
I did call and they said they would send someone there tomorrow to see the conditions that all the animals are being kept in.
However it seems that they cannot do anything without proof. I emailed the pic of the burns on the babies' feet but that
is not enough.
I also am going back there early in the morning to buy 10 more... need to try and save as many as I can just in case.
I will take the ones who's feet are the worst and also the ones that have raw pink backs from being pecked by others.
I will also ask that guy what those spots are just to see if he knows and I am interested in seeing what he will say to me about it.
He is a vet for crying out loud! what kind of vet would allow something like this to happen. And I am bringing my camera
and I will open the door of that tiny space and try and get a picture. I need to do something about this and now it has
become my main goal. I have too make sure those ducklings do not die in such horrid conditions.
I even prepared a nice spot for all the ducklings. All fenced but their feet will be directly on the grass to sooth them.
.
My 2 little ones are doing great! Already the spots are lighter and they even have new down on their backs.
I am keeping them out of the sun however so that the pink skin on their backs will not get burned by the sun.
They spent the day on soft, green grass and now they are back in the house beside me in a big container and they
are on dry towels once more. My daughter just looked in there and saw her cat towel..LOLOL
I noticed that ducklings love it when I make a small cozy cave with towels in the container. They go right in there and
snuggle and sleep.
Will let you know what happens tomorrow.
