Help! What kind of bird makes good companion to quail? Dove?

I can't seem to find a companion quail for my small, female courtunix quail and she's really lonely and down. Do you think a dove would make an O.K. companion? She's been attacked by male quails in the past, so I was hoping to get another female quail, but I just can't find one. We played her some bluegrass today and she came out of her hiding place and hopped around a bit. She really needs a friend. Thanks!

Buy some eggs or check craigslist for a bird. If you get a male you will need about 4 hens to go with him. That way she won't get beat up.
