Our australorps are 14 weeks this weekend and I wanted to get feedback if all pullets?

I don’t think any have them. These are my first babies and they all seem to be feathering the same.
I've raised hundreds of cockerels.. and could be incorrect.. but they appear to be pullets that are just getting their hormones a little sooner than the others. Australorp specifically... seem have the gals making folks question their gender in this fashion.. making this one breed that I see a lot of this.. but if they were boys they would have looked like these ladies closer to 8-10 week range *most* the time. If you weren't positive about age I would hold my reservations.. but.. no qualms about saying pullets! :celebrate

I will note that the saddle feather picture I posted is represented accurately for most breeds and often starting to show by 12 weeks. It would be inaccurate though for hen feathered breeds such as Seabright and Campine, maybe more.. Silkies actually do get the long flowing saddle feathers, you just can't see the pointy-ness since their are no barbules that hold them together.. Sorry, sometimes I ramble on about details.. chicken learning has been so much fascinating fun and love sharing what little I can. :D

Thank you so much!!! That is all truly very helpful. I also find it very interesting and appreciate your experience. I’m really enjoying this flock. They will be 14 weeks on Sunday for sure and am hoping for all pullets since my neighborhood doesn’t allow roosters. Technically it doesn’t allow chickens but many have hens and the HOA have stated they aren’t doing anything about it. It seems like this last week, even the last few days I’ve seen their comb and little waddles really develop more. Not really red though- still pink and some hardly any color or even blackish a bit. I’m so glad we went with australorps as they have been very sweet for the most part, and I’ve read they are pretty great egg layers. Excited for when they do lay!
Thank you again! I appreciate your help.
