Okay, here’s a bit more info for you. I did see him poo. What I saw was just a lighter green foam. No solids. I separated him from the rest of my flock. I listened to his breathing because I thought it may be pneumonia, but I didn’t hear anything strange. Just to be on the safe side, I did give some garlic powder in his water. He seems to be about the same as yesterday, but maybe a bit slower and more tired. Should I give him a crunched up vitamin in his water? Thx!

It wasn't like a bright green was it? I know foamy can mean worms or other parasites. Vitamins will help boost his immune system and is always a good idea to start and even just supplement every so often.

I use the poly-vi-sol without the iron. It is important to NOT give the vitamins with the iron added. You can put a couple of drops right into his beak or add it to the water.

If I think they might be getting dehydrated, I use the supplements at the feed store which have both vitamins & added electrolytes. I know some people even give them some gatorade for electrolytes.

I would think like an adult vitamin would be too much for them but if that is all you have on hand...Make sure there is no added iron to it and maybe grind it up and just put a small portion of it in his water.

That neon green color could be an indication the he is not eating enough and could also be dehydrated and the neon green color is from concentrated bile from not getting enough food. Whether he isn't eating because he doesn't feel well or an impacted or sour crop. I would do the vitamins, electrolytes and also see if you can get him to eat something too. Yogurt is good for the GI system and you can also put Apple Cider Vinegar in his water too.
Other things that can cause this color is he might have eaten something toxic or even liver failure but I doubt it is that. Try to get some food and lytes into him and see if he starts to pick up a bit. Have you noticed if he is eating well since you separated him?

Okay, I have some apple juice for babies that has lytes in it. Will that work? Also, how much should I give him? Can you give them too much lytes? No, he’s not eating very well since I separated him. I did see him eat a little, but not too much. His crop is almost empty. His fav. foods are bread and watermelon, so I’ll try to get some of those down him. I’m also going into town and I’ll get him some yogurt. How’s that sound?

Yes, encourage him to eat whatever he likes and see if he will take some yogurt too because the probiotics help with any gut issues.
If you have a little one and I am only assuming that because of the apple juice for babies you have on hand, would you also have pedialyte on hand? I know that can be used too. I am not sure if the apple juice might cause more diarrhea????
You can even mix some feed into the yogurt too...whichever he likes better.
I do a mash like with chicken feed, add water and vitamins to it and my guys think it is the most wonderful treat in the world!!! LOL But it does get them to eat and get something into them.

Okay, I gave him some of the apple juice. He wouldn't eat it so I fed it to him through a syringe. He did eat a LITTLE bit of watermelon and a even litteler bit of bread on his own. I also got some yogurt. He wouldn't eat that either, so I gave it to him in a syringe. I also gave him some water. He's not eating much on his own so I'm really worried. No, I don't have any pedialyte on hand. His crop is so empty.

One good thing that happened is I set him on a up-side-down 55 gal drum to feed him and he stood there for a bit, then jumped down and ran away. I caught him, but he was just a bit more lively then normal. He also did the rooster "ddddurrrrrahhhh" for danger, and he hasn't done that since he got sick. Thx for all your help so far!

I also notaced he's been yawning a lot.

I always do wet chicken feed with a scrambled egg when I have a sickie. If it was a girl, I'd say he was acting like my internal layer chickie, but that's kinda unlikely since he's a he.

No other chickens are sick?

Oh I really hope he starts to pick up now!!!

I would keep trying to offer him food, whatever he wants!!! Hopefully he will starts eating whatever you give him!!! Keep us posted on how he is doing and if you notice anything else on him to help figure out what could be happening with him!
Featherz is right, he does appear to be acting like an internal layer would act but we know that can't be! You can try scrambled eggs too. They would be a good nutritious food for him if he will eat them.
Oh, just thought of something...how does his comb look? Does that look any different from his normal color?

Nope, no other chickens are sick. I'm glad about that. I'll try to get him to eat some egg. I have been feeding him more yogurt and apple juice every few hours. I also mixed like ¼ cup ground soy beans into the yogurt and got that into him toady. He pooped last night. This is what it was:

He does seem to be a bit more active lately. Not too active, but just a bit more than in the last few days. His comb looks fine, it's the same color as normal. He's still not eating on his own.
