Help with babies

It's the end of day 23 and I came home to two babies. I had not gone into lockdown yet. I took out the egg turner and added more water and put the babies back in ( in a warm bathroom ). How long should I leave the babies in. Any additional hints are appreciated it is my first hatch.

I have left mine in for 12-24hrs. They don’t seem to fully dry in the incubator. At least mine haven’t. But this is my first hatch too, and it hasn’t gone anything like I thought it would.

I always leave mine in at least 24 hrs. Longer if they need it.

The white ones umbilical cord is still attached. Is there anything I should do for that or will it naturally come off.

You don’t want to pull on the cord. If it’s still attached to a piece of shell, you can trim the shell to just be the small part attached. It should dry up and fall off soon.
