So here's the situation,
My boyfriend's mother bought 15 buff brahma chicks and had them sent to us. We've never had anything live sent to us; we always hatched our eggs in an incubator. So we knew there were risks from having them sent through the mail. They came in on April 5th and she went to go get them when the post office called. 1 was already dead upon delivery. A couple looked a little rough but nothing sugar water couldn't fix. They all started to look normal. Then she made the mistake of putting two heating lamps over them for a long period of time. So this morning (at about 7am), April 7th, she yelled out how all the chickens look dead. 4 were dead and 2 weren't doing well. One chicken perked up just by touching it. But the other still is having lots of issues. Before it wasnt opening its eyes at all, it couldn't stand on its own, and it looked like it was kinda shaking. I looked up chicken seizures and that wasn't it. And it also made deep low and quiet chirps. But since then, I gave it sugar water and it's opened its eyes and started chirping again. But it still kinda shakes and cannot stand up at all by itself. It often looks like it's trying to nurse off of something and it kinda sounds like it's nose is congested. I don't know what to do to help it. It'll drink if I put it's beak in water or put a pipette to its mouth. It hasn't pooped at all today but it's basically been sleeping all day. So the problem now is he still barely will open his eyes, and he keeps opening and closing his beak a lot. When he open and closes his beak, he flexes his rectum at the same time so that his whole body kind of tenses up when he does it.
Note: they're about 4 days old and we don't know any genders
