I am a teacher in a high school and a keen hen and duck keeper. Some of my Yr13 students have dumped two chicks today (as part of a bit so funny joke as it is there last day) which i have agreed to take on. I could do with some help working out their breed and if there us a way of telling yet if the are males.

Hello and :welcome

Looks like they could be on left Gold laced wyndotte and right a gold seabright. Not 100%, but pretty sure, and gender not sure as they are a little young unless OP can do gender at this time.

The one on the right looks like a Golden Sebright to me. The one on the left may be a Partridge Plymouth Rock. Its too young to tell gender, but I'm leaning towards rooster on the bird on the right, based off of the tall stance.
