Ok, so I bid, $6, and it says I'm out bid by... $6. It does not update even minutes later that I AM the top bidder, it shows the last person. This always happens, what the heck?!
I'm starting to think these are fake bidders against me, they never have any personal info!

    I bid 5
    Then i saw 5.25, so i bid 5.50
    5.75 showed up, i bid 6
Then it showed i was out bid, but by my own 6
But, isk, maybe i didn't understand, so i bid 7
But again, it showed 7 for the other person again...
The history only seems to show me bidding myself and the time line is backwards with the "stinger16f 7.00 Today 1:57 pm"
White mine shows nothing but me,
    secuono 7.00 Today 2:23 pm
    secuono 6.00 Today 2:22 pm
    secuono 5.50 Today 2:05 pm
    secuono 5.00 Today 11:18 am

I don't understand at all. is this normal and I just don't know it, lol?
It was the same way with 2 other bids on other eggs.

    WOW...Thank you!

If you peek at the bidding history, it shows that you bid up to 6$ and then someone else took it from there.

It does sometimes take a second to show everything.

I know that wasnt very helpful but hopefully it at least answered the question.

Thank you again for being a bidder on Camelot eggs!

Could it be that the other bidder has entered a higher maximum bid and it is going up automatically as you bid? Just the BYC delay since it's a busy Sunday?

stinger16f, has placed a top bid, and you won't know what it is until you beat her, top bid is at $7 right now so you'll be out bid until you beat her top bid, is not fake, is real..

stinger16f bid $5.25, that's when I bid 5.50. stinger16f bid $5.75, I bid $6. After I bid $6, it said I was still out bid, so I bid $7. Though it says stinger16f bid $7 at 1:57 pm, and never before or after. Yet I was bidding myself from $5 at 11:18 am to $7 at 2:23 pm??
How is this possible? The history doesn't even show when stinger16f bid twice after me.

Quote:Read my post above, they bid lower before, making me bid more. It never showed $7 at 1pm before. It just showed I was out bid and I needed to bid $5.50 to out bid them.

ugh...I'm no longer bidding on eggs here...this is just ridiculous...

It works just like on eBay. The other bidder has bid say 15.00. The system will only increment it up to the next highest amount until you bid and, until you bid more than the first person who bid the $15.00 it will continue to up the bid in the smaller increments.

There is often a mechanism for auctions to outbid by x amount anyone else's bid up to a limit of $y. That way the person doesn't have to sit at their computer constantly bidding.

I don't know if the auctions here are set to show you who the other bidders are... In any case, good luck!
