Help with BR gender....*updated pics* pg 3

If that was a pullet, with a comb and wattles like that, she'd probably already be laying. Usually, I like to know the age, then I can tell you with about 95% certainty whether you have a boy or girl, but you dont know the age. I wish your picture was clickable so I could see it larger. Also, if you get me a picture of the back/saddle/tail area from the side fairly close up, I can tell you better. Could actually go either way, but if its a pullet, be looking for eggs very, very soon. It's pretty thick necked for a point of lay pullet, but that could be the angle, I suppose.

EDITED TO ADD: My eyes were dilated this afternoon, so my eyesight needs a larger picture, LOL

Given the size of the comb & wattles and those thick legs without a black wash down them and thr thickness of the body...

I'd have to say cockerel.

Ugh, I dunno why we cant seem to get a BR hen!

This is my own cockerel, who is about 20 weeks old and his little brother (sorry about his bad pic) There are individual differences, even between my two BR cockerels. Dutch is 20 weeks and Mace is 17 weeks. Dutch is much darker than Mace, as you can see.

We can end the debate, the ones that voted cockerel are right. I just went out to take new pics and inspected his feathers better. Lots of pointy feathers at the base of the tail.
