I bought these gals (hopefully) at a local farm and garden store for $1 each. I done my best to wing sex them as they were only 2 days old at the time. I'm hoping I purchased all hens. I was told they were mainly Easter egg ears and one black copper Maran (she's my special girl, she falls over a few times when she walks). I'm posting pictures to follow, the first is a black one (I was told amerecauna, and the second is white, again I was told amarecauna, both have gray/blue feet and gray around their ears as well as the ruffles on the sides of their faces. The second two I was told were Easter Eggers. They again have small ruffles on the sides of their faces The fifth is I'm assuming a Rhode Island Red, and the last, I was told black copper Maran. She has gray/blue legs and feathers on her feet forming too.
Any ideas on breeds and or gender.?

Thanks in advance.

So, wing sexing is not accurate on chicks like this. Chicks have to be from a specific cross of parents for it to work. So if you bought these and they were not sexed pullets from a hatchery, then they are straight run and you can expect to have some cockerels. They're too young yet to tell gender.

As for breed, I just see a bunch of Easter Eggers. The reddish one might be a production red or rhode island red if it has a single comb. There are no black copper marans here. The last one likely isn't an easter egger because it has a single comb but it's not a marans.

Can someone tell me what kind of rooster this is? He was given to me by someone who has no idea what he is. I was told once he was a Belgium coucou maline. He usually has feathers on his feet but the hens have ripped them out.
